GENERAL ADVICE TO PARENTS
BREAST FEEDING AND ADEQUATE AND TIMELY IMMUNIZATION ARE THE BEST INSURANCE FOR YOUR CHILDREN FOR A HEALTHY FUTURE!
[1]BREAST FEEDING: should be started as early as possible, soon after birth and can be continued upto 18 months to 2years of age. It provides not only the ideal nutrition for your baby, but contains substances which give very good protection for your baby against various diseases. It is very important to feed only breast milk to your baby until, at least, six months of age and introduce solids only later.
[2]IMMUNIZATION: You can protect your baby against the following diseases by adequate and timely vaccinations..... Tuberculosis, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis(whooping cough), Polio, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Typhoid, Hepatitis A and B, Chicken Pox, Hemophilus influenza type B.
Do not forget to continue vaccinating your children with booster doses in teenage.
